Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PAL mobile application (also marketed as “Hello PAL”) and the hellopal.app website (together, the “Services”) operated by Being Phoenix, LLC (“Being Phoenix,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Who may use the Services
You must be 18 years or older to use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Not medical or clinical advice
PAL provides emotional-wellbeing and self-reflection tools. It is not medical or psychiatric care, and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease or condition. In an emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for your account and keeping your login secure. Do not share credentials. Notify us at support@hellopal.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
Your Content & license to us
You may input text and other material into PAL (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, process, and display your User Content only to operate and improve the Services. We do not use your journal content to train models deployed to other users. Any product improvements are based on anonymized usage data and system-level analysis. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Misuse, interfere with, or disrupt the Services or attempt unauthorized access;
Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes;
Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or violates others’ rights;
reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
